GPSR on Amazon — common questions
Where do I add GPSR information in Amazon Seller Central?
Go to Performance → Account Health → Policy Compliance → Regulatory Compliance → Submit Compliance Information → GPSR. Manufacturer and EU Responsible Person details are set once at the account level; each listing (ASIN) also needs its own GPSR fields. This is general guidance — verify the exact path on the official Amazon page, as the interface changes once or twice a year.
What is an EU Responsible Person and do I need one?
Under GPSR Article 10, products sold in the EU need a Responsible Person established in the EU. Add their name, EU postal address and email on the account via “Add new responsible person address”, and set the Responsible Person email on each ASIN. If you do not have one, a specialist partner can act as your EU Responsible Person.
Is account-level information enough for GPSR on Amazon?
No. Account-level manufacturer and Responsible Person details do not close the case on their own — each ASIN needs its own GPSR fields (safety certificate answer, manufacturer email and Responsible Person email), added via the catalogue, a bulk feed or the API.
Does this guarantee my Amazon listing will be reinstated?
No. This is general guidance, not legal advice, and it does not guarantee any outcome on Amazon. Always verify the fields on the official Amazon page. Our value is keeping one audit-ready technical file that stays consistent across all your EU marketplaces.
